Keeping the horrifying, the terrible, the supernatural, the unexplainable, the gory, and even the cheesy at bay. Or at least posted here.

I do not own the majority of what I post/reblog.

NO REAL LIFE GORE. FICTION ONLY.

The cool film poster above belongs to Rubber, a 2010 French horror comedy film about a tire that comes to life and kills people with its psychic powers.
Yup. Check out the trailer here.
It’s directed and written by Quentin Dupieux aka French techno musician Mr. Oizo. Oizo is best known for the album Analog Worms Attack, released in 1999, and “Flat Beat”, an insanely sweet track with a great music clip.
“Flat Beat”, with its simple repeated bass loop (it only took Oizo two hours to create the song), became a hit throughout Europe in 1999 and was featured in a series of Levi’s jeans TV commercials. Dupieux also directed the advertisement, which featured a yellow puppet named Flat Eric bobbing his head to the sound of the track while riding in an old beat-up car.
Mr. Oizo has also provided both production work and songwriting for Uffie’s 2010 debut album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, which I’m only mentioning because it gives me an excuse to post a picture of Uffie. Like, say, this one:

Great poster for a great movie. :)
